  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to Aitkin county; making the Long Lake 
  1.3             conservation center fund a separate county enterprise 
  1.4             fund; amending Laws 1965, chapter 616, section 1, as 
  1.5             amended. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1965, chapter 616, section 1, as amended 
  1.8   by Laws 1967, chapter 14, section 1, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Section 1.  [AITKIN COUNTY; LONG LAKE CONSERVATION TRAINING 
  1.10  CENTER.] 
  1.11     Notwithstanding the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.12  Section 398.33, all moneys, fees, and donations specified for or 
  1.13  received from the operation of the Aitkin county Long Lake 
  1.14  conservation training center shall be deposited in a separate 
  1.15  account, other than the park fund, to be under the jurisdiction 
  1.16  of the secretary-treasurer of the Aitkin county park 
  1.17  commission.  Such secretary-treasurer so appointed shall give a 
  1.18  corporate surety bond to the county in such sum as the county 
  1.19  board may direct, but for not less than $1,000, conditioned for 
  1.20  the faithful performance of his official duties, expenses of 
  1.21  such bond shall be paid by the county, and shall be approved and 
  1.22  filed as provided by law for bonds of county officers.  The 
  1.23  secretary-treasurer shall make a comprehensive report of the 
  1.24  funds received, paid out, and on hand.  Such report shall be 
  1.25  submitted by the secretary-treasurer by certified copy as 
  2.1   prescribed by the public examiner, to the register of deeds and 
  2.2   county auditor of the county on or before the first day of 
  2.3   November of each year county.  All books and affairs of the Long 
  2.4   Lake conservation training center, to the extent the center 
  2.5   receives aid from appropriations, shall be subject to 
  2.6   examination by the public examiner state auditor for the current 
  2.7   year.  This act in no way restricts the transferring of annual 
  2.8   profits from the operation of the conservation training center 
  2.9   to the park fund for other park activities.
