A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; providing procedures for filling the Watonwan
County Soil and Water Conservation District Board supervisor vacant positions.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section
103C.305, subdivision 6, the vacancies in the office of elected supervisor for the Watonwan
County Soil and Water Conservation District may be filled by appointment made by the
Watonwan County Board. The appointees may hold office until the next election to fill the
office under Minnesota Statutes, section 103C.305, subdivision 6, is held.
