A bill for an act
relating to environment; appropriating money for investigation and testing at
state Superfund sites.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of the Pollution Control Agency to conduct site investigations and testing at active state
Superfund sites located in a home rule city in Anoka County bordering the Mississippi
River that contains at least five active state Superfund sites to assess the risks of vapor
intrusion and movement of contaminated groundwater and to take action to reduce or
eliminate those risks.
