  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to school buses; authorizing the commissioner 
  1.3             of public safety to cancel the school bus driver's 
  1.4             endorsement of a person who has been convicted of a 
  1.5             violation or violations that show evidence of a risk 
  1.6             to public safety; proposing coding for new law in 
  1.7             Minnesota Statutes, chapter 171.  
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  [171.3216] [ACTIONS ON SCHOOL BUS ENDORSEMENT.] 
  1.10     In addition to any authority granted under section 
  1.11  171.3215, the commissioner may cancel a school bus driver's 
  1.12  endorsement on a driver's license of any person if the 
  1.13  commissioner determines that the person has been convicted of a 
  1.14  series of offenses of law, or of a single gross misdemeanor 
  1.15  offense, that the commissioner determines shows evidence that 
  1.16  the person represents a risk to public safety.
