144E.127 INTERHOSPITAL TRANSFER.
When transporting a patient from one licensed hospital to another, a licensee may substitute
for one of the required ambulance service personnel, a physician, a registered nurse, or physician's
assistant who has been trained to use the equipment in the ambulance and is knowledgeable of
the licensee's ambulance service protocols.
