relating to the city of Anoka; authorizing the city in its home rule charter to provide the procedure for the appointment of the city housing and redevelopment authority commissioners.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin The city of Anoka may provide in its home rule charter the procedures for the appointment of the city housing and redevelopment authority commissioners, notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 469.003, subdivision 6. new text end

new text begin This section is effective the day after the governing body of the city of Anoka and its chief clerical officer comply with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3. new text end
