relating to human services; requiring the commissioner of human services to seek
federal match for specified grant expenditures; requiring a report.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin (a) The commissioner of human services shall seek federal financial participation
for eligible activity related to fiscal year 2010 and 2011 grants to Advocating Change
Together to establish a statewide self-advocacy network for persons with developmental
disabilities and for eligible activities under any future grants to the organization.

new text begin (b) The commissioner shall report to the chairs and the ranking minority members of
the senate Health and Human Services Budget Division and the house of representatives
Health Care and Human Services Finance Division by December 15, 2010, with the
results of the application for federal matching funds.
