A bill for an act
 relating to arts and culture; appropriating money for the Board of the Arts.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; BOARD OF THE ARTS.

new text begin Of the total resources available in the arts and cultural heritage fund for fiscal years
2012 and 2013, 50 percent each fiscal year is appropriated to the Board of the Arts for
purposes of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 129D. These funds must be distributed in the
same ratio as the 2010-2011 biennial budget program appropriations to operations and
services, grant programs, and regional arts councils. If the appropriation for either year is
insufficient, the appropriation for the other year is available.
