relating to cultural heritage fund; appropriating money to Department of
Education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$5,000,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $5,000,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated
from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the Department of Education for grants to the
12 regional public library systems to provide educational opportunities in the arts, history,
literary arts, and cultural heritage of Minnesota. The grants shall be allocated using the
existing distribution formula under Minnesota Statutes, section 134.355.
