appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Education for the fiscal years

compensatory revenue pilot program under Laws 2005, First Special Session chapter 5,
article 1, section 50, as amended by Laws 2007, chapter 146, article 1, section 21:

new text begin Of this amount, $6,504,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent School District
No. 11, Anoka-Hennepin; $325,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent School
District No. 286, Brooklyn Center; $911,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent
School District No. 279, Osseo; $694,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent School
District No. 281, Robbinsdale; $715,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent School
District No. 535, Rochester; $282,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent School
District No. 833, South Washington; and $650,000 in each year is for a grant to Independent
School District No. 241, Albert Lea. If a grant to a specific school district is not awarded,
the commissioner may increase the aid amounts to any of the remaining participating
school districts. This appropriation is part of the base budget for subsequent fiscal years.
