relating to higher education; regulating compensation for faculty in the Minnesota
State Colleges and Universities for the biennium ending June 30, 2013.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES FACULTY
COMPENSATION.

new text begin For the biennium ending June 30, 2013, the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota
State Colleges and Universities may not base compensation for full-time faculty solely
on seniority. Compensation during that period must be based on other additional factors,
including performance.
