BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

The sums indicated in this section are
appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of education for the fiscal years
designated for grants to Independent School District, No. 283, St. Louis Park.

For equity coaches to provide professional
development activities to licensed teachers:

This appropriation includes $1,000 for curriculum development tailored to nonteaching
staff. Any balance in the first year does not cancel but is available in the second year. This

the costs of materials, training seminars, individual coaching for administrators and other
members of the school district's cabinet, and other related expenses.

(a) For an outside evaluation of the school district's equity coaching
model:

(b) The evaluation must assess and measure the success of the district's equity coaching
model. Independent School District, No. 283, St. Louis Park, must post the evaluation on
its Web site, file a copy of the evaluation with the commissioner of education, and submit
the evaluation to the education committees of the legislature by January 15, 2020.
