A bill for an act
relating to education finance; providing for supplemental aid for approved recovery
programs; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 124D.695, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 124D.695, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

for an approved recovery program equals the greater of zero or:

new text begin (1) $140,000; minus
new text end

new text begin (2) $7,000 times the greater of (i) zero or (ii) the adjusted pupil units enrolled in the
supplemental recovery program minus 50.
