relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to the East
Side Neighborhood Development Company.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated to the commissioner of employment and
economic development for a grant to the East Side Neighborhood Development Company
(ESNDC). ESNDC, in cooperation with the Minnesota Hmong Chamber of Commerce,
must use the grant to provide outreach, recruitment, and capital support to new businesses
in East St. Paul.
