A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money to study the feasibility of expanding
or reconstructing marked Interstate Highway 94 between the cities of St. Michael
and St. Cloud.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MARKED INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 94 STUDY; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the trunk highway fund to the
commissioner of transportation to conduct a study on the feasibility of expanding or
reconstructing marked Interstate Highway 94 from the city of St. Michael to the city of St.
Cloud. At a minimum, the commissioner's study must include traffic modeling and an
environmental analysis.
