A bill for an act
 relating to education; allowing Minnesota Transitions Charter School to qualify
for certain grants and programs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA TRANSITIONS CHARTER SCHOOL.

new text begin Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, Minnesota Transitions Charter School
is eligible to receive children's mental health grants under Minnesota Statutes, section
245.4889, and recovery program grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.695; be
available to serve as a children's collaborative under Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.23
or 245.493; and participate in the voluntary prekindergarten program under Minnesota
Statutes, section 124D.151.
