A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; requiring a certain percentage of money in the outdoor
heritage fund and clean water fund to be spent on buffer easement acquisition;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, sections 97A.056, by adding a subdivision;
114D.50, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 97A.056, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin At least 25 percent of the money deposited in
the outdoor heritage fund must be appropriated for acquiring buffer easements on public
waters and public drainage systems.

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 114D.50, is amended by adding a subdivision to
read:
