of commerce for certain farming opportunities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ETHNIC MINORITY CHAMBERS OF
COMMERCE.

new text begin $200,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of agriculture for grants to ethnic minority chambers of
commerce to connect immigrants and new American citizens to farming opportunities in
this state.
