A bill for an act
relating to utilities; requiring consumer disclosure of renewable energy mandate
costs; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 216B.1691, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 216B.1691, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin An electric utility must include on each of its customer's
bills a line item specifying the amount of the bill that is attributable to the costs of
complying with the renewable energy objectives and standards of this section.
