BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin The sums indicated in this section are
appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Education for the fiscal years
designated.

new text begin P-TECH implementation grants. new text end

new text begin (a) For P-TECH implementation grants
under Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.093, subdivision 5:

new text begin (b) Of the amount in paragraph (a), $500,000 in each year is for a grant to a public-private
partnership that includes Independent School District No. 535, Rochester.

new text begin (c) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16B.98, subdivision 14, the department
may retain money from this appropriation for administrative costs under Minnesota Statutes,
section 124D.093, subdivision 5.

new text begin (d) Any balance remaining in fiscal year 2026 is available in fiscal year 2027.

new text begin (e) The base for fiscal year 2028 and later is $2,625,000, of which at least $500,000 per
year is for a support grant to a public-private partnership that includes Independent School
District No. 535, Rochester.
