A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for construction and renovations
at a new facility for CornerHouse.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CORNERHOUSE.

new text begin $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to CornerHouse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization, to design, construct, renovate, furnish, and equip a new facility in the city of
St. Anthony. This appropriation includes money for electrical, audio, and security system
improvements to the facility. This appropriation is available until the project is completed
or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime
appropriation.
