relating to state government; prohibiting an agency from vetoing election or
appointment of a potential board member of a nonprofit organization; proposing
coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 15.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

[15.987] INTERACTIONS WITH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION.

Notwithstanding any other law, an employee or representative of a state agency, acting
in the employee's or representative's official capacity, is prohibited from vetoing the election
or appointment of a potential board member of a nonprofit organization.
