A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to Agate Housing
and Services for a shelter in Hennepin County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AGATE HOUSING AND SERVICES.

new text begin $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services for a grant to Agate Housing and Services to design, construct, equip,
and furnish a shelter facility in the city of Minneapolis for those experiencing homelessness.
This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to
Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
