BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; DIVERSE EMERGING MUSIC ORGANIZATION.

new text begin $250,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to
the commissioner of administration for a grant to the Diverse Emerging Music Organization
(DEMO) to develop the Minnesota music archive project and expand music event
programming and for community outreach. This appropriation is available until June 30,
2025.
