relating to natural resources; appropriating money for constructing ring levees.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; RURAL AND FARMSTEAD RING LEVEES.

$360,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for grants to assist in constructing rural and farmstead ring levees for
flood protection in the Red River watershed. A grant may not exceed 50 percent of the cost
of the project. This is a onetime appropriation.
