A bill for an act
relating to legacy; appropriating money for grants to public television.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $4,460,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $4,460,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from
the arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration for grants to the
Minnesota Public Television Association for production and acquisition grants according
to Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.18. Grant recipients must use a portion of each grant
to bring content developed using arts and cultural heritage fund money into classrooms
across Minnesota for the education and preservation of our rich history and culture.
