relating to tourism; appropriating money to Explore Minnesota Tourism.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin (a) $5,768,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $5,768,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated
to Explore Minnesota Tourism. These amounts are added to other amounts appropriated to
Explore Minnesota Tourism and are added to the base appropriation.

new text begin (b) $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated
to Explore Minnesota Tourism to assist in funding and securing new events benefiting
communities in the state. This is a onetime appropriation.
