A bill for an act
 relating to human services; appropriating money for recovery community
organization grants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS; RECOVERY COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
GRANTS.

new text begin $975,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $975,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of human services for grants to recovery community
organizations to provide community-based peer recovery support services that are not
otherwise eligible for reimbursement under Minnesota Statutes, section 254B.05, including
but not limited to training, hiring, and supervising recovery peers and peer specialists, as
part of the continuum of care for substance use disorders.
