A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for a grant to the White Earth
Band of Ojibwe.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin WHITE EARTH BAND OF OJIBWE HUMAN SERVICES;
APPROPRIATION.

$1,400,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of human services for a grant to the White Earth Band of Ojibwe for the
direct implementation and administrative costs of the White Earth transfer authorized
under Laws 2011, First Special Session chapter 9, article 9, section 18. This appropriation
is added to the base.
