A bill for an act
relating to education finance; increasing the state reimbursement for
reduced-price school lunch meals; appropriating money; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2012, section 124D.111, subdivision 1.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 124D.111, subdivision 1, is amended to
read:

Subdivision 1.

School lunch aid computation.

must pay participants in the national school lunch program the amount of 12 cents for
each full paid deleted text begin , reduced, deleted text end and free student lunch served to students new text begin , and 52 cents for each
reduced-price lunch new text end .

new text begin (b) A school that receives school lunch aid under this section must make lunch
available without charge to all participating students who qualify for free or reduced-price
meals.
