A bill for an act
relating to labor and industry; modifying licensing requirements for well
contractors in certain cases; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 326B.46,
subdivision 6.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 326B.46, subdivision 6, is amended to read:


Subd. 6.

Well contractor exempt from licensing and bond; conditions.

No
license, registration, or bond under sections 326B.42 to 326B.49 is required of a well
contractor or a limited well/boring contractor who is licensed and bonded under section
103I.525 or 103I.531 and is engaged in the work or business of installing
