A bill for an act
relating to local government; authorizing the city of Sandstone and its economic
development authority to sell a housing development.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 469.034, subdivision 2, paragraph (e),
or any other law to the contrary, the city of Sandstone and the economic development
authority of the city of Sandstone may sell and convey to a nongovernmental party at fair
market value all property described below:

Lots 4 to 8, Block 21 Townsite of Sandstone;

Lots 9 to 16, Block 20 Townsite of Sandstone, together with that part of vacated
Palisade Avenue abutting said lots;

Lots 9 to 22, Dennies Subdivision of Block 11, Sandstone Quarries, together with
the part of an alley accrued thereto by reason of vacation thereof; and

all buildings constructed thereon and known as the Wild River Apartments
development, located at 300 Commercial Avenue North and 500 Eisenhower Street,
in the city of Sandstone.

This section is effective the day after the governing body of
the city of Sandstone and the Sandstone Economic Development Authority and their chief
clerical officer timely comply with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions
2 and 3.
