A bill for an act
 relating to human services; modifying the Minnesota family investment program
time limit on assistance; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 256J.42, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 256J.42, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin (a) The months of Minnesota
family investment program cash assistance received from July 1, 2010, through June 30,
2012, do not count toward the 60-month time limit in subdivision 1.
