A bill for an act
 relating to housing; establishing a pilot program providing grants for integrated
community-based housing; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin INTEGRATED COMMUNITY-BASED HOUSING PILOT PROJECT;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the general fund to the Housing
Finance Agency for competitive grants to nonprofits to provide supportive housing for the
integrated community-based housing pilot project. Money appropriated in this section is
for the construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation of permanent supportive housing that
provides integrated community-based settings for people with disabilities and elderly
individuals seeking to remain within their communities. This is a onetime appropriation
and is available until June 30, 2022.
