A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; allowing soil and water conservation districts to
conduct meetings by teleconference; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section
103C.321, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 103C.321, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin Meetings by teleconference. new text end

new text begin A district board may conduct its business by any
technological means available, including teleconference calls or interactive video, that
allows for interaction among supervisors. If a meeting is conducted under this subdivision,
a specific location must be available for the public to attend the meeting and at least one
supervisor must be present at that location.
