A bill for an act
relating to the Minnesota Historical Society; appropriating money for a
grant-in-aid program for county and local historical societies.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2008 and $....... in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Minnesota Historical Society for the grant-in-aid program for
county and local historical societies. The Minnesota Historical Society shall set program
guidelines and criteria and shall require a one-to-one match.
