A bill for an act
relating to education; prohibiting public employers from reducing compensation
of Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board members; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 122A.07, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 122A.07, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

of a member shall not reduce the member's compensation or benefits because of the member's
absence from employment when engaging in the business of the board.
