1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring the Biscoe Family Farm for being recognized as the 2018 Farm
1.3Family of the Year.
1.4WHEREAS, the Farm Family Award has been presented annually since 1979 to recognize
1.5excellence in agriculture and community involvement; and
1.6WHEREAS, Don and Kathy and Bill and Heather Biscoe were selected by past Farm Family
1.7Award winners to be the 2018 Farm Family of the Year; and
1.8WHEREAS, they will be honored at the Washington County Salute to Agriculture event on
1.9Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Machine Shed in Lake Elmo; and
1.10NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.11congratulates the Biscoe Family Farm for being named the 2018 Farm Family of the Year and
1.12extends best wishes to them for the future.
1.13BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.14enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.15Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to the Biscoe family.
