1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Tyler Joseph Calley of Rochester for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Tyler Joseph Calley is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 96 and
1.7has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member and demonstrated mastery
1.8of all scouting skills; and
1.9WHEREAS, for his community service project, he restored and preserved historical
1.10records found at St. Bernard Cemetery in Stewartville, uploading documentation and photography
1.11onto a Web site accessible to the public; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held in recognition of Tyler Joseph Calley; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Tyler Joseph Calley of Rochester for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Tyler Joseph Calley.
