1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Aaron Bruinsma of Rochester, Minnesota, for receiving
1.3the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Aaron Bruinsma is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 80 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved designing and constructing a six-foot by four-foot
1.11message board to hold information about the Rochester Youth Baseball Association along with
1.12tournament brackets; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Aaron Bruinsma of Rochester, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Aaron Bruinsma.
