1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Jason Daniel Fillmore of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, for
1.3earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Jason Daniel Fillmore is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 907
1.9and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Jason has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved building sensory activity boards for the children of
1.12Independent School District No. 833, and has fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain
1.13the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on February 21, 2020; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Jason Daniel Fillmore of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle
1.17Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Jason Daniel Fillmore.
