1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Nicholas Gonzalez of Avon for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America,
1.4and attaining the rank of Eagle is an important achievement worthy of recognition; and
1.5WHEREAS, Nicholas Gonzalez is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has displayed
1.6the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.7WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of scouting skills, has completed a community
1.8service project, and has met all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle; and
1.9WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor for Nicholas Gonzalez will be held on March 9,
1.102014, at Avon Community Church; and
1.11NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.12congratulates Nicholas Gonzalez of Avon, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.13BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.14copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.15Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Nicholas Gonzalez.
