1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Donald Regan on being named 2015 Banker of the Year.
1.3WHEREAS, Donald Regan founded Premier Banks over 40 years ago in Maplewood,
1.4Minnesota; and
1.5WHEREAS, Premier Banks has become one of the largest commercial banks in the state,
1.6and is known for its commitment to the community; and
1.7WHEREAS, Donald Regan is a community icon who has raised seven children in North
1.8St. Paul along with his wife of 60 years, and has contributed generously to North St. Paul,
1.9Maplewood, and the surrounding area, region, and state; and
1.10WHEREAS, Donald Regan has shown incredible dedication to the community through his
1.11ongoing volunteerism; and
1.12WHEREAS, in recognition of his dedication to community banking and his remarkable
1.13business success, Donald Regan has been named the 2015 Banker of the Year by the Northwestern
1.14Financial Review; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.16it commends Donald Regan for his outstanding service and success, and congratulates him on
1.17receiving this well-deserved award.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.19enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.20Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Donald Regan.
