1.1A Senate resolution
1.2relating to postage.
1.3BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate of the State of Minnesota:
1.4For the 2012 session of the 87th Legislature, the Secretary of the Senate may purchase
1.5postage to furnish each member of the Senate 2,750 stamps. Upon receipt of a written request
1.6justifying the need, the Chair of the Committee on Rules and Administration, after consultation
1.7with the Senate Minority Leader, may authorize postage to furnish a member up to 2,000
1.8additional stamps. Each member named as chair of a standing committee in the Senate resolution
1.9designating committee assignments may be furnished with an additional 1,000 stamps for the
1.10necessary business of the committee.
1.11An additional postage allowance of 1,000 stamps is authorized for the Senate Minority
1.12Leader; one other member of the minority designated by the Senate Minority Leader; and one
1.13member of the majority designated by the Senate Majority Leader.
1.14Each member of the Senate shall receipt to the Secretary of the Senate for the postage
1.15received.
