1.2congratulating David Michael Young-Stephens for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, David Michael Young-Stephens is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop
1.8103 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013; and
1.12NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.13congratulates David Michael Young-Stephens for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.15copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.16Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to David Michael Young-Stephens.
