1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Alexander Luke Schmidt of Alexandria for receiving the
1.3Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Alexander Luke Schmidt is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 412
1.8and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and has completed a
1.10community service project, which involved rebuilding a foot bridge at Luther Crest Bible Camp;
1.11and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on April 28, 2013, in recognition of
1.13Alexander Luke Schmidt; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Alexander Luke Schmidt of Alexandria, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Alexander Luke Schmidt.
