1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Ryan Williams of Sauk Rapids for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Ryan Williams is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 21 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project which involved construction of a gazebo for the nonprofit Opportunity Matters; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on April 7, 2013, in recognition of
1.12Ryan Williams; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Ryan Williams of Sauk Rapids for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Ryan Williams.
