1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Joshua M. Tracy for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Joshua M. Tracy is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 354 and has
1.7displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project involving landscaping, with a view toward both safety and aesthetics,
1.10and construction of benches at a South Haven park; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on January 6, 2013, at St. Ignatius Catholic
1.12Church in Annandale in recognition of Joshua M. Tracy; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Joshua M. Tracy for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Joshua M. Tracy.
