1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Samuel Clysdale for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Samuel Clysdale is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, Samuel Clysdale has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has
1.10completed a community service project, which involved building a community garden at Christ
1.11Lutheran Church, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout;
1.12and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Samuel Clysdale for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Samuel Clysdale.
