relating to capital investment; appropriating money for site selection planning and
predesign for a new facility for Appetite for Change.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Appetite for Change, a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization, to evaluate potential sites and acquire property for a site that will
provide access to food, workforce development, urban agriculture, and health and wellness
services.
